I started on my Spiritual path after a long journey with one destructive relationship after another. I was attracted to rebels, alcoholics and addicts and I had no idea how to stop attracting these types of relationships. My marriage to R.W. took me to my knees, I was using Heroine with him and we found out that we both had Hep C and there was no cure for it. This sent me into a panic, I knew I could not live like this anymore. I started to take Yoga classes, I became a Massage Therapist and I found everything that I could do to heal myself naturally, I did not want to take any medications. Something inside me said " you are not going down with this disease, that is not the way that your life ends". I started to juice fresh fruits and vegies, I found a Shamanic Drum Journey class and I had a drum journey cd I could use at home.
I went to 12 step meetings Narcotics Anonymous, I went to Coda to get out of the codependent relationships. I tried anything and everything. I even went to other churches, this was difficult since I was raised Jehovah Witness and I knew that I could not go into another church, my upbringing strictly forbid going to any other faith. I had to find something that would work for me. My Spiritual path was my priority, I knew that I needed a whole new relationship with my creator.
I found out that I was healing myself from the Hep C, turns out that you can recover from this disease. I am still healthy and I show no signs of Hep C other than contact with it. It was a combination of things that brought healing, working on my health and wellness, the Yoga, the Juicing and shifting my beliefs.
I started to believe that I could be Happy! I moved down to San Jose in 2004 and started working as a Massage Therapist in a day spa in a gym and at a Yoga studio. I started to teach Yoga, I became a certified Ashtanga Yoga instructor from Mount Madonna. I moved into my massage studio and I started my journey with Landmark Education, I became a Introduction Leader for Landmark.
That is where I found my calling, I knew that I wanted to be a Life Coach. I found CTI Coaches Training Institute and started my 6 month training with them in 2007. I started Coaching and then continued training with Todd and Rosie at ITP in Palo Alto for another year and was certified as a Transformational Coach.
